A five-eyelet blind wingtip brogue, the Inverness is a sleek, modern oxford. A ‘blind wingtip’ refers to a shoe whose characteristic wingtip design is decoratively sewn onto a single piece of leather, rather than being a seam connecting the toecap to the vamp. The blind wingtip is slightly sleeker than a standard brogue, which makes it appropriate on even the most formal occasions. Crafted on Edward Green’s 888 last, designed by master shoemaker Tony Gaziano, the Inverness has a slim, tapered square toe. It is a sculpted and refined shoe that is ideal with a suit, but can also lend sophistication to a more casual outfit.Established in a small Northampton factory in 1890, Edward Green has gained a deserved reputation for ‘making the finest shoes in Englad for the discerning few’.
